Here is my synopsis of the past year and a look ahead to the year to come!
Top 10 Memories of 2008
1: Stewart graduating from college and commissioning into the US Army.
This was so awesome and I was so proud of my sexy hubby. It felt like we could FINALLY move on to the next phase of life.
2: Quitting my job.
This was so nice because, again, it was a milestone to our next phase in life. Plus it really sucked.
3: Moving to Fort Knox.
It was so nice to be together with Stewart again. I was ready for a little adventure in my life too.
4: Eli learning to read and write.
This is the funnest thing about having a child. Watching them learn is so exciting.
5: Our Capitol Reef trip.
We had the best time on this family trip I think that it will go down in history as one of the best we ever had.
6: Danny and Mike's weddings.
Having all of my siblings married is so great! Now if they will just start having children...
7: My sewing projects.
I have loved having a sewing machine. It's so nice to be able to have a craft to do.
8: A fun summer.
We sure missed Stewart a lot but we were able to have a lot of fun too. I loved not being tied down to the apartment.
9: My discovery of new favorite things: Rock Band and Jones cream soda, and gelato.
'nuff said.
10: The movie Mamma Mia.
Sorry, but I LOVE it. If I even mention it in front of Eli he says "you're out of control about Mamma Mia."
Top 10 things to come in 2009:
1: My new baby. (This is just positive thinking! No announcement or anything.)
Keep your fingers crossed for us!
2: Being there for Stacy's delivery.
She better wait until I get home or else!
3: Disneyland.
We are planning to take Eli there before the deployment.
4: Stewart's deployment.
This obviously isn't a fun thing but it is to come. Boo hoo.
5: Living with my parents.
I'm so happy that we have this option available to us! I would be too lonely with Stewart gone to live on my own.
6: Some sort of vacation with Stewart.
We can't decided what to do though!
7: Learning to roller skate well.
8: Attaining my goal weight.
I know. It's about time right.
9: My 7th wedding anniversary.
uh oh! The 7 year itch! ;)
10: Becoming a 30 year old!
I'm freaking out a little bit but my friends who have done it seem to have survived.

Mamma Mia-Review
It was GREAT! We were singing and dancing and right before it started the chicks in front of us said, "no singing ladies." We said, "it's the sing-a-long" and carried on with the singing. We think they didn't realize that it was the sing-a-long version but once they did they accepted their fate and we didn't have to throw down.
Besides my mom and Stacy my cousin Carrie also came. We just had so much fun. The movie was 10 times better singing the songs out loud instead of singing them under your breath. And that's saying a lot because that movie is already 10 times better! ( I know that didn't make sense but I can't explain how much I love this movie.)

My Mac.
I got a new computer! It's a Mac and I LOVE it. I've ben having so much fun with it I can't even tell you. I have already made a DVD slideshow of Eli showing what he did the year he was 4. He really liked it. (Mostly because it had the song "smoke on the water" on it. ) I have tried uploading it to YouTube but the internet here is SO slow so it hasn't worked. Maybe when I am in Utah I can get it uploaded.
Anyway, I've been editing my pictures of Eli to get them ready for the slideshow. I have had so much fun making bad pics turn out better. These are my favorite changed pictures. I realize that some of you have been photo editing for a long time but I haven't except with really complicated crappy programs that just came with my computer.

Gelato
I can't even describe the joy that I felt while eating this delicious treat. It seriously was the best think that I have eaten in a long time. It is one of those treats that it worth every penny and calorie.
It was so good I'm taking Stewart back tonight...actually we are all taking our hubby's there tonight. So bring on the gelato!

I'm Kinda Scared

I understood a little about the hot flashes because Clomid gave me hot flashes. My favorite song was sung to the tune of "My Guy." The words were changed to say "nothing I can do, the fat sticks like glue to my thighs" THAT I understand!
The worst part was when they were singing about vibrators because I was sitting right next to my MOM! I don't think that she thought that was so funny either because she was sitting right next to her DAUGHTER!
Anyway, this was my weird outing. I'm glad that my mom won tickets and that I was invited to go!
*oh and Stewart stayed home and babysat Eli and Eli's little friend Abe. What a nice guy!
