My wonderful sister had her baby girl tonight. I have been able to see 3 out of her 4 kids born.
LUCKILY I came back from Kentucky early because I was originally supposed to come back tonight at 11:00 pm and Chloe was born at 7:07.
Whew for Stacy because I told her if she had that baby before I got home she'd have to give her to me. Un-whew for me though because Chloe Emma is dang cute!
I am happy to be back in Utah and am going to be really happy when Stewart gets here on the 3rd. We had a great time in Kentucky and made some great friends. I would post a picture of Eli's cute friends if SOMEONE would e-mail me the picture. *wink wink* Shanda.

Eli Says:
I am currently bedridden because I jacked up my back and am on percocet. We spent 3 hours at the ER last night to get some drugs and a diagnosis of lower back pain. This was funny (not haa haa funny) because the pain is not in my lower back but up in my upper back. It also wasn't funny how the ER wasn't busy and 4 hospital nurses/PA's stood around having a great time not working while I waited. Also I wanted a muscle relaxer and NOT pain killer but oh well.
Anyway, Eli has said some funny things lately. The other day when I asked him how he felt he said that he felt "lay downish." Which meant "I'm tired and want to lay down and watch cartoons."
Eli made a "that's what she said" joke. Of course he didn't mean to but it was funny. Eli has had a hard time adjusting to being back to KY because of the time change. He took a nap one day and then couldn't fall asleep that night. I told him that I shouldn't have let him take a nap. When Stewart said the same thing to him 20 minutes later Eli said, "that's what she said." Stewart about died laughing and was a little proud too.
Eli: Do you know why I'm not embarrassed to tell you that I love Elizabeth?
Me: No
Eli: You like Elizabeth, right?
Me: Yes
Eli: That's why I'm not embarrassed to tell you and Dad that I love Elizabeth.
We got up REALLY early to get to the airport and when I woke Eli up I said, "Eli we get to ride on an airplane!" (If you don't wake him up in a good mood you are going to be sorry for the rest of the day.) In his cute, just woken up voice he said, "I'm just excited to see Daddy again." AWWW it made me really happy that we were going to KY when I heard that.
I told Eli to get his coat on and he said/sang: "brr it's cold in here. I'm cold to my toes and up to my ears."
Most mornings Eli will come and cuddle me in bed for a few minutes. Since we have been back to KY he says, "I just can't stop cuddling you!"
And as usual, I can't remember a few more that I just KNEW I wouldn't forget.

Old and New Top 10
Here is my synopsis of the past year and a look ahead to the year to come!
Top 10 Memories of 2008
1: Stewart graduating from college and commissioning into the US Army.
This was so awesome and I was so proud of my sexy hubby. It felt like we could FINALLY move on to the next phase of life.
2: Quitting my job.
This was so nice because, again, it was a milestone to our next phase in life. Plus it really sucked.
3: Moving to Fort Knox.
It was so nice to be together with Stewart again. I was ready for a little adventure in my life too.
4: Eli learning to read and write.
This is the funnest thing about having a child. Watching them learn is so exciting.
5: Our Capitol Reef trip.
We had the best time on this family trip I think that it will go down in history as one of the best we ever had.
6: Danny and Mike's weddings.
Having all of my siblings married is so great! Now if they will just start having children...
7: My sewing projects.
I have loved having a sewing machine. It's so nice to be able to have a craft to do.
8: A fun summer.
We sure missed Stewart a lot but we were able to have a lot of fun too. I loved not being tied down to the apartment.
9: My discovery of new favorite things: Rock Band and Jones cream soda, and gelato.
'nuff said.
10: The movie Mamma Mia.
Sorry, but I LOVE it. If I even mention it in front of Eli he says "you're out of control about Mamma Mia."
Top 10 things to come in 2009:
1: My new baby. (This is just positive thinking! No announcement or anything.)
Keep your fingers crossed for us!
2: Being there for Stacy's delivery.
She better wait until I get home or else!
3: Disneyland.
We are planning to take Eli there before the deployment.
4: Stewart's deployment.
This obviously isn't a fun thing but it is to come. Boo hoo.
5: Living with my parents.
I'm so happy that we have this option available to us! I would be too lonely with Stewart gone to live on my own.
6: Some sort of vacation with Stewart.
We can't decided what to do though!
7: Learning to roller skate well.
8: Attaining my goal weight.
I know. It's about time right.
9: My 7th wedding anniversary.
uh oh! The 7 year itch! ;)
10: Becoming a 30 year old!
I'm freaking out a little bit but my friends who have done it seem to have survived.
